The biggest challenge when installing threaded inserts? Getting them perfectly straight. A tilted insert will prevent the screw from threading in smoothly, which defeats the entire purpose. This tool solves that problem.

How It Works

1. Push the pin side into the threaded insert
2. The hex drive gives you a solid grip to turn the insert
3. The pin stabilizes the insert vertically, making it nearly impossible to tilt during installation

Best Results: Use a Drill Press

For absolutely perfect installs, use this tool with a drill press:

1. Position the insert over the hole
2. Lower the tool with the drill press table (motor OFF)
3. Apply gentle pressure with the handle while slowly twisting the chuck
4. Stop when the insert sits flush with the surface
