How It Works
Traditional wood screws strip out over time, loosening your neck joint and killing sustain. Our threaded inserts create permanent metal threads inside the wood. The machine screws thread into them with precision creating a rock-solid connection you can disassemble and reassemble as many times as you need, without ever damaging the wood.
Which Size Do I Need?
- 45mm Standard for most Fender Strats and Teles
- 40mm Common on Jazz Basses and some Teles
- 35mm Shorter joints, some imports and custom builds
- M4 (4mm) Standard thread, fits most bolt-on guitars
- M5 (5mm) Thicker thread, for guitars with larger screw holes
Measure your existing screws before ordering. Every instrument is different Teles and Strats are usually 45mm, J-Basses typically 40mm.
